Browning Increase Arrow This commercial establishment held an insurance policy of $800,000. After a fire decimated the building, they were able to obtain only $517,866 from their insurance company (Scottsdale) even though it was obvious that it was well over 97% destroyed and salvaging anything from the remains would be nearly impossible. FirstCall coordinated the inspection of the insured’s engineer to combat the insurance company’s engineering opinion. Due to FirstCall’s expert substantiation, documentation, and negotiation, we were able to obtain policy limits for this client. The final result? FirstCall was able to settle this claim for $810,000 + $108,000 for business interruption. That’s a total increase of over 77%!

They attempted to collect the insurance proceeds on their own for over 9 months and became increasingly frustrated because they had not yet received a dime.
