Phil Breeden and Denis Rowe of FirstCall appeared on Reverend Enoch Fuzz’s show, Just Talkin’, on local radio station WVOL 1470 AM today to offer insight into the property insurance industry.
Nashville-based FirstCall is a firm of licensed Tennessee public adjusters specializing in Tennessee property loss claims, which helps insured individuals properly navigate the insurance claims process. Local coaching legend Maurice Fitzgerald was instrumental in scheduling the appearance on the long-running show.
“FirstCall provides a valuable service to this community that every property owner should be aware of,” said Reverend Fuzz. “Too often friends, families and churches end up providing financial assistance to displaced families who have experienced a property loss. I believe most people do not understand the details of insurance policies and do not take advantage of replacement housing, groceries and supplies they are entitled to during rebuilds and repairs. We should all have experts like FirstCall on our side.”
Breeden, a veteran of the insurance industry has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and leads the first licensed public adjusting firm in the state of Tennessee. When asked what advice he feels is most important for listeners, Breeden states “many homeowners and property owners mistakenly believe that they have sufficient coverage and the insurance company’s adjuster is on their side. The truth is, this is not a level playing field. Insurance adjusters represent the insurance companies and the agenda is to save the insurance company money at your expense.”
“Because we specialize in this industry and understand the complexities of insurance policies, documentation and proof of loss, our clients collect an average net increase of 42 percent per settlement over the insurance companies’ initial offerings,” continues Breeden. “This is a significant amount of money that would have been left on the table.”
Public adjusters, who serve as advocates to property owners, are commonplace in most states throughout the country and Tennessee has followed suit. “In recognition of the importance and complex nature of the role, Tennessee public adjusters are now required to be licensed by the state,” said Denis Rowe. Rowe serves as vice president of client development for FirstCall and has more than a decade of experience in property loss consulting.
Located at 608 West Iris Drive in Nashville, FirstCall’s public insurance adjusters have nearly 20 years experience in the preparation of inventories, estimates and other procedures for filing Tennessee property loss claims.
